The BOOKWORM BOX Unboxing + Review

For this post I am doing something I haven’t done on the blog before: an unboxing. At the beginning of the summer I received a package from THE BOOKWORM BOX for review*. The Bookworm Box is a monthly subscription box service (started by author Colleen Hoover) that donates 100% of its proceeds to charity.

The first thing I saw when I opened the box was a letter from Colleen listing all the charities that the money from the month’s box would be sent to. Along with the letter were two bookmarks and a magnet.

Next was the two books: Honesty by Seth King and Midnight Lily by Mia Sheridan.

Also in the box was a sticker that read “GOOD DEEDS. GREAT READS.”, a pin that says “SHHH…I’m Reading”, a Bookworm Box pen and charger.

When I was first sent the box I didn’t really know what to expect. I was a little nervous that I wouldn’t like the books that were in the box but I was pleasantly surprised because they both sounded very interesting. I also liked that these were not necessarily books that I would have picked out for myself at a bookstore. It’s always great when you can discover new books and authors. While I was a little disappointed that there was not more goodies inside I still enjoyed receiving the box.

Thanks again to Colleen Hoover and The Bookworm Box team for sending me the box.
